This is a nice medium size bronze bell weighing 5 kg (11 lb) including the galvanised shackle and bell-rope. The throat diameter is 24.3 cm (9½”) and it’s about 23 cm (9”) tall. It’s a genuine antique bell with a lot of character.
The clapper is also made from bronze and a nice hand-made bell-rope is attached with a small brass shackle.
I was told it came from the Solomon Islands.
